Match racing

Match Racing

Why not try racing two or more identical boats in a series of quick-fire races on windward/leeward courses. Race from a start line against the clock. The winner takes all.

Experience the start countdown and go for the best position on the line before the gun goes off. Race down the course against your identical competitor and out manoeuvre them to the first turn to gain the advantage.

This is even better when it is another department in your company. High excitement sailing with all the safety built in. Your experienced skipper will make sure that everyone knows exactly what is happening and how to work the course to your advantage.

Tailored to your requirements

In the morning you will be taught how to sail the yacht for approximately 3 hours including a practice lap of the course. This is followed by a picnic lunch with plenty of time to discuss your tactics for the afternoon races. An experienced skipper will be in charge of the yacht during close racing. So you can concentrate on steering and handling the yacht.

We run each event the way you want it. There is no format we use that you need to follow. Although we are happy to sort everything out.

Points mean prizes!

Prizes can be given to the winning crew. With consolation prizes for the less fortunate boats.

Photos can also be taken and can be supplied as part of the package. Team polo shirts can be supplied by arrangement, as can corporate signage or flags.

Basic prices are £1000 per boat per day (excluding VAT)

The price includes all safety equipment, qualified Skipper, light refreshments and picnic lunch. A basic fun prize is given to the winning crew.
